Behavioural ecologist

I am a Ramón y Cajal Fellow at Rey Juan Carlos University in Madrid, studying how animals respond to human-induced environmental change.

My work combines behavioural ecology, physiology and evolutionary biology, often using wild birds as study systems. I am particularly interested in migration, urbanisation, biological rhythms and the ways environmental change creates both constraints and opportunities for adaptation.
